Fìkh Dè Qěv (/dɤ/ /qɛv/ [main] [scar]) is a subtropical Town located in Zapavadu Parish, Sktkrmmepo District, within the Federation of Alveria.

The name Fìkh Dè Qěv is derived from the Constructi language, as Fìkh Dè Qěv was founded by Zeg̈nkê Trèdshê, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Fìkh Dè Qěv has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 31°C (87°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 22°C (71°F). Fìkh Dè Qěv receives an average of 129 cm/y (50 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Fìkh Dè Qěv covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 10708 m (-7818 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Fìkh Dè Qěv was founded durring the early 16th century in spring of the year 1521, by Zeg̈nkê Trèdshê. The establishment of Fìkh Dè Qěv was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Zeg̈nkê Trèdshê electing to pay people to resettle in Fìkh Dè Qěv.

Fìkh Dè Qěv was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fìkh Dè Qěv is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Fìkh Dè Qěv is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of premissive baked earthen streets which form hexical paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town sits behind an impressive looking clay brick wall. The wall is notable for querried stone blocks being used to renforce the clay bricks in the expected manner and locations. While the wall was built to the exact specifications of modern fortifications, one has to wonder why the money invested into creating such a well fortified wall wasnt spent on a less impressive looking wall crated from sturdier materials. Fìkh Dè Qěv's walls would endure a brief bombardment, but only from light siege weapons. It seems more likly the town's walls were not designed with defence in mind but rather lending the town a certain air with visitors. Fìkh Dè Qěv's boondoggle-of-a-fortified wall are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.

A look around Fìkh Dè Qěv makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It’s a quiet town filled with closed scriptoriums, people quietly yet dejectedly reading in isolated places around town, and the occasional book laying in a heap of garbage.

Civic Infrastructure

Cultural Notes

Fìkh Dè Qěv's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by towering round arches, massive stone and brickwork, small windows, thick walls, and a propensity for housing art and sculpture depicting mythological scenes. The building's general shape would be a clever and ascetic combination of geometric shapes, which would be blended together by joining elements. The style's decorative features were largely internal rather than external and incorporated semicircular arches for windows, doors, and arcades; barrel or groin vaults to support the roof of the nave; massive piers and walls, with few windows, to contain the outward thrust of the vaults; side aisles with galleries above them..
